Points Standings
Points are calculated in the following manner: Each time a driver reaches the ready stripe during eliminations, that driver will receive points for that round (i.e. round 1 =11points. round 2 = 12 points, round 3 =13 points, etc.). The race winner will be awarded round points plus a bonus equal¬ing the final round number, (i.e. if the final round is 5, winner will receive round points plus 5 bonus points, in this case the driver would earn a total of 70 points).
The competition is heating up as there are just two more Points Races to determine the Texas Motorplex 2010 Bracket Finals Team. Come compete on September 11 & 12 to earn yhour spot on the team! The Top 50 Overall Points Holders in the bracket classes will be able to race with Texas Motorplex at the Bracket Finals. It’s not too late!! You can still sign up for points you’ve earned!
